Construction begins on Dalby Bio-Refinery

Construction of the Dalby Bio-Refinery grain-to-ethanol plant has begun. Dalby Bio-Refinery general manager Kevin Andrews says earthworks have been completed and foundations should have been poured by the time you read this.

The bio-refinery will consume 200,000 tonnes of locally-sourced sorghum in its first year and that will increase as the plant ramps up. Dalby Bio-Refinery have contracts for their ethanol in place, the largest of which is Caltex (previous post).
