Another LNG plant for Queensland

ABC NewsOnline report that a proposed $350 million liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant to be built in the central Queensland city of Gladstone. The project appears to involve the Gladstone Economic and Industry Development Board, Liquid Natural Gas Limited and Arrow Energy.

According to the combined Arrow Energy and Liquid Natural Gas Limited press release the plant should be operational in 2010 and contains information on the intended output. This being the case it will be a year behind the Liquegas LNG project we reported on ten days ago. The Gladstone Economic and Industry Development Board press release has more.
